Updating intel matrix storage manager ok cupid dating test
Before the fresh install of Windows I selected RAID in the BIOS Advanced Chipset Features, my understanding that is how to enable AHCI.
The device manager no longer shows IDE ATA/ATAPI controller but does now show instead Storage Controllers.
If none of the controllers above are shown, then the system is not running in RAID mode and you should continue with step 6 below.6.
From the Device Manager, look for an entry named 'IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers'.
Is this something I can uninstall, or would it be recommended to keep this?
Intel(R) Matrix Storage Driver I would imagine this is part of the whole RAID setup, but I do not even know if I need to be running RAID if I am running WAMP or not.
On top of this, it can "sometimes" make your machine go faster under certain circumstances - it installs some funky I/O drivers that increase access times. Having RAID and running WAMP are not actually related.
And, when I went ahead anyways & installed them it crashed the installation process to where I had to start all over again without them.SKILL-F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK (2x2Gbs) (5-5-5-15) @ 1067Mhz Graphics Card EVGA GTX 470 SC (845/1690/2000) 160Gbs Sound Card VIA HD Audio / Boston Acoustics Monitor(s) Displays Acer X222W HD 22" LCD 2500:1 / 5ms Screen Resolution 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard (Old Style Blue!)
